Shape & scale
The single hardest thing to convey about acreage is how big it actually is. One frame from 300 feet does what no parcel map ever has.
Vacant land started it — parcels are bought from above. The same flight now serves buyers doing due diligence, cottage and rental owners, farms, wineries and venues. Edited high-resolution stills the same day, cinematic video on any shoot, lot-line overlays where they help.

Most vacant-land listings run on map imagery — because until recently, real aerials meant hiring a helicopter. And most drone providers treat land as an afterthought bolted onto house packages. Here, the parcel is the job. What buyers actually get to see:
The single hardest thing to convey about acreage is how big it actually is. One frame from 300 feet does what no parcel map ever has.
Road frontage, entrances, highway exposure and sightlines — the details that set a parcel's value, shown as they really are.
What's next door, what's being built nearby, how far the water or the GO station really is. Context is the pitch — aerials prove it.
Parcel boundaries drawn over the photo from public mapping, clearly labelled "illustration only — not a survey." Buyers instantly see what's included.
Vacant land and acreage are the specialty — for sellers, for buyers, and for owners. In rough order of what I'm asked for most:
The flagship. Full-parcel aerials showing shape, frontage, access and context — with approximate lot-line overlays available on every shoot.
Considering land hours away? I fly it first — shape, frontage, access, low spots and what's next door — delivered same day, before you commit to the drive or the offer.
For owners and hosts: one aerial showing the water, the lot and the setting outperforms a whole gallery of ground photos on a rental or cottage listing.
Brand content for wineries, golf courses, marinas, campgrounds and event venues — the property as a destination, shot for web, ads and social. Venue marketing any day; live-event coverage isn't offered.
Working farms and hobby acreage — workable acres, drainage, bush lines and the building cluster, shown the way a farm buyer actually evaluates them.
A 20–30s clip is included with the Land Listing Package; intro-tier clips and extended 60s+ cuts are $150 — all shot in the same flight window.
A day-zero aerial record of a greenfield site before anything is built — for planning, marketing and dispute protection. The cheapest documentation a developer will ever buy.
Recurring aerials of sites and builds — same angles, same altitudes, week over week, so progress is documented consistently.
Homes, cottages and estates where the lot, the water or the setting is the story — aerial stills and cinematic video tours.

Buyer-side recon: same rates as listing work. Travel included across the service area — free when I'm already shooting near you.
Share the address or MLS link. I confirm airspace, owner-permission needs and a flight window — usually the coming Saturday.
Multiple altitudes and angles: full-parcel frames, frontage and access, and the context shots that sell the location.
Colour-corrected high-resolution stills, plus lot-line overlays where included — delivered by download link that evening.
Full licence for listing, MLS and marketing use. If they're not usable, you don't pay — that's the whole risk.
I'm Wenxi — a Toronto photographer best known for aviation work under @wenxi.photo. Wenxi Aero is the drone division of that practice: years of shooting fast-moving aircraft in difficult light, applied from a new camera position.
Shot on my own gear, at golden hour, the week the aircraft arrived. Client parcel work replaces these as listings are delivered — aerial stills first, then video clips.
Based in Toronto, flying across Southern Ontario — from Niagara wine country to the London corridor. Trips are batched by region, so if I'm already shooting near your listing, travel costs nothing.

For land, the parcel's shape, frontage, access and surroundings are most of what a buyer wants to understand — and none of it reads from a ground photo or a satellite screenshot. One real aerial shows the whole story at once, which is why land listings with true aerials consistently present better than listings marketed on map imagery.
An approximate parcel boundary drawn over the aerial photo, derived from publicly available parcel mapping (e.g., your GeoWarehouse map). Every overlaid image is labelled "boundaries approximate, illustration only — not a survey" and is not to be relied on for legal boundary determination.
Same day as the flight, weather and daylight permitting — edited high-resolution JPEGs by download link. If weather prevents a usable flight, I reshoot at no charge.
Yes — and a 20–30 second clip (horizontal + vertical) is now included in the Land Listing Package. On the intro tier, or as an extended 60s+ cut on any package, aerial video is $150. Longer cinematic tours for estates and development land are quoted per project.
Yes — buyer-side parcel recon is a core service, at the same rates as listing work. Before you commit to a long drive or an offer, I fly the parcel and deliver the same due-diligence set an agent would get: shape, frontage, access, low or wet areas, and what actually surrounds it. Same-day delivery. I photograph from the air and operate from public access points — I don't enter the property itself; if on-site takeoff is needed, permission is arranged through your agent or the seller.
Yes. Teams or brokerages booking five or more shoots a month get a standing volume rate and first pick of weekend slots — get in touch and we'll set it up.
Yes. You don't need to be a realtor. Cottage owners, short-term rental hosts, farm owners, wineries and venue operators book directly — for rental listings and destination marketing, one aerial showing the water, the property and the setting usually does more than an entire gallery of ground photos.
Yes. All flights are conducted under a valid Transport Canada RPAS certificate, within its limits and in compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations Part IX. Canada modernized its drone rules in 2025; the visual-line-of-sight category this work falls under remained stable through that change, and I stay current with the framework. I check airspace for every site before booking — parcels near airports may need additional authorization, and I'll tell you up front.
You get a full, perpetual licence to use the images for marketing and selling the property — listing, MLS and Realtor.ca, brochures, social media. Wenxi Photo retains copyright and portfolio rights, the standard arrangement for commissioned photography in Canada.
If the delivered images aren't usable for your listing, tell me within five business days and the invoice is cancelled in full. No partial credits, no arguing taste — usable or free.
Prefer direct? Reach me any of these ways — I answer fastest in the evenings and on weekends.
